Spring 2026 Academic Resilience I Requirements
These requirements are designed to provide intentional semester-long support to the following students:
Students who are in University College (undeclared majors) and are in their first term of academic probation are required to participate in Academic Resilience I.
Option 1
Take Course: US 1531 - Academic Resilience
You can fulfill your requirements by registering for the course US 1531 - Academic Resilience and successfully completing the course with a C- or higher.
Note that this full-semester, 2-credit-hour elective course is graded. If you would like to register for this course, please complete the US 1531 Registration Permit Request Form. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Completing the form is required to request a permit, which will allow you to self-register for these sections.

Step 1: Attend Advising Appointment
Complete required advising between Monday, December 8 - Friday, January 16.
Step 2: Attend Three Academic Success Coaching Appointments
Academic Resilience I requires that students attend 3 Academic Success Coaching appointments. Academic Success Coaches support students in one-on-one appointments to develop the soft skills it takes to be successful in college, such as time management, organization, study skills, and more. You will receive an assigned Academic Success Coach at the start of the semester. Please note this coach will be different from your assigned Academic Advisor and meetings.
- Appointment 1: Available between Monday, January 12 - Friday, February 20
- Appointment 2: Available between Monday, February 23 - Friday, March 27
- Appointment 3: Available between Monday, March 30 - Wednesday, April 29
