Spring 2024 Academic Resilience I Requirements
These requirements are designed to provide intentional semester-long support to the following students:
Students who are in University College (undeclared majors) and
- are in their first term of academic probation
or - have successfully appealed academic suspension
are required to participate in Academic Resilience I.
Option 1
Take Course: College Success Seminar - US 1001 - Academic Resilience
You can choose to fulfill your requirements by registering for the full semester 2-credit course US 1001 - Academic Resilience course and successfully completing the course with a C- or higher.
Note that only the Academic Resilience sections of the College Success Seminar will be counted. If you would like to be enrolled in this course to complete your requirements, please fill out this Intent to Register Google Form. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Filling out the Google Form is the only way to register for these sections.

Step 1: Attend Advising Appointment
Complete required advising by Wednesday, January 31st
- Schedule an appointment
- We strongly recommend that you meet with your advisor by the end of drop/add week (1/22) to do a GPA calculation, review your schedule, make adjustments, and more!
Step 2: Attend Three Academic Success Coaching Appointments
Academic Resilience I requires that students attend 3 Academic Success Coaching appointments. Academic Success Coaches support students in one-on-one appointments to develop the soft skills it takes to be successful in college, such as time management, organization, study skills, and more.
- Appointment 1: Available between Tuesday, January 16 - Friday, February 23
- Appointment 2: Available between Monday, February 26 - Friday, March 29
- Appointment 3: Available between Monday, April 1 - Friday, May 1
