The Student Learning Center offers a variety of drop-in support options for students who are seeking academic support or resources and strategies for learning.

PEAK Workshops

Reach your academic PEAK with a PAL! Personal Excellence through Academic Knowledge (PEAK) Workshops are offered by our Peer Academic Leaders (PALs) through weekly one-hour, drop-in workshops. Come join us to learn more about academic tips and strategies for success.

Topics include:

  • Planning out your semester
  • Time Management and Procrastination
  • Organization and Academic Habits
  • Goal-Setting and Academic Behaviors
  • Note-taking and Academic Reading
  • Stress Management and Tackling Test Anxiety
  • Final exam preparation

General Drop-In Academic Support

The Student Learning Center offers drop-in support for a variety of topics - no appointment needed.

Starting on Jan. 22nd

Available on :

Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Wednesdays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Topics include:

  • time management
  • study skills
  • Google Calendar
  • organization systems

**No Drop-in available on 1/15 - 1/19, 3/11 - 3/15, or 5/2 due to University Holidays and Breaks.

Drop-in Tutoring

If you are unsure about the need for a regular appointment and just want a setting to work on your assignments and ask questions as they arise, you may want to consider attending Drop-In Tutoring either in person or via Zoom.

Tutoring is also available by appointment and weekly group study sessions.
