Carole Greene

Carole Greene, Assistant Director of Student Support Services (SSS), joined the Student Learning Center in May 2017. Carole received her Bachelor's degrees in Music Therapy and Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies in 2005. Following her internship in Minnesota, she worked as a music therapist in Arizona and North Carolina before returning to Appalachian for her graduate work. Carole was introduced to Student Support Services and ACCESS as a graduate mentor from 2009-2010. She also began working with Upward Bound and GEAR UP as a student worker during this time. In 2012, Carole graduated with her Master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy with a graduate certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy. As a two-time alumn of Appalachian, Carole is proud to be a member of the Boone-erang club. She enjoys hiking, singing, reading, and spending time with her family.
