Libby Noel Clary (She/Her)

Libby (She/Her) has a Bachelors of Science in Human Development from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Appalachian State University. Libby is a higher education professional with a passion for researching trauma, resilience, and prevention science through the platform of higher education. She seeks to bring awareness to the ongoing relationship between high ACE scores and levels of academic success. As an adult with a high ACE score, it is very important to her to be the voice for those that are still finding theirs. Ultimately, her personal and professional goal is to pursue a doctorate degree in prevention science to help combat the ongoing prevalence of trauma, abuse, and adverse childhood experiences.

Libby currently serves as the Tutoring Coordinator of University Tutorial Services in the Student Learning Center at Appalachian State University. In her freetime, Libby enjoys renovating her home with her family, working on her fiction novel, practicing archery, and playing video games.
