The peer academic coach (formerly known as an interdisciplinary tutor) is a successful student and tutor who has received additional training in general study and time management strategies. Students can meet with this peer tutor as a general resource, helping them set goals, develop study plans, and apply strategies during the sessions to review for any of their classes. Since this service involves regular weekly appointments, interdisciplinary tutoring can be of particular help for students who wish to improve their focus and follow through in managing academic assignments.
Sign up for interdisciplinary tutoring appointments by going in person to the tutoring lab in 208 D.D. Dougherty during regular academic semesters, including summer sessions. This service is not available during academic breaks.
Offered in partnership with University Tutorial Services.
