Appstate University Tutoring Services recognized by the University of Rhode Island AEC

University Tutoring Services staff at Appstate was recently publicly recognized for collaborative support by the Academic Enhancement Center of the University of Rhode Island. UTS Director Lee Cope presented our new OnLine tutoring platform at the RedRock Software National Conference in Mesa Arizona in April of 2019.  In a partnership with the software developers, Cope and Director of Support Services, Wes Waugh, helped to develop and pilot a new TutorTrac system customization that utlizes proprietary meeting technology. This customization works with existing TutorTrac licenses and enables OnLine tutoring sessions to be documented and reported upon within the current software framework. It will also be an integral component in the TutorTrac Cloud operating system update to be released this fall.  Since this presentation, Cope has collaborated with a number of other major colleges and universities seeking to incorporate this in to their existing TutorTrac systems.
